Osamu Tezuka: the political reading

A thoughtful review of The Art of Osamu Tezuka: God of Manga in the Herald Scotland speculates on Tezuka’s and Disney’s political stances as expressed in actual and imagined works. Teddy Jamieson obviously appreciates the potential of comics, and their role in a diverse society – a pity one can’t say the same of all journalists and critics.
