Loncon 3 Art Show: a selfie in book form, artistic repurposing of discarded plastic

As I finish my preparations for Loncon 3, here’s a teaser for the Art Show. (As ever, you can find out more online in a fact-packed document with some very nice pictures.)

The whole thing kicks off on Thursday next (kudos to anyone who grinned at the Jasper Fforde reference) with a signing by four of the big beasts of the SF art world. Jim Burns has a new book out, too.

You could also pick up the Art Show’s own publication, a guide to all the artists in the show. For Helen McCarthy completists (hello, both of you) I’m in there in some very distinguished company. It’s only a fiver – not bad for a handy selfie of the state of SFF art.

I’m showing some haiga, some cross stitch and other needlecraft, and some artistic repurposing of bits of discarded plastic. I hope you’ll drop in – you can still get day passes and hall passes, both of which will admit you to the Art Show.
