Robin Hill, 30 March 1954 – 7 July 2012

Poem for Robin

I will not give you tears.

You would charm away sadness.

You loved the glitter

Of shining armour,

The beauty of the blade,

The balance of the wing.

You saw potential beauty in the smallest thing.

You wanted a jetpack.

You wanted a spaceship.

You never asked to live forever.

I will not give you tears.

I will only say

This is too soon to lose you

And I miss you.
